Do I Need Radiator Repair?
A leaking radiator is something you cannot ignore and must be fixed immediately. Leaking coolant is poisonous to any animals that consume it and a lack of coolant could damage your engine. Ignoring this problem puts you at risk for being stranded on the side of the road. And, you don’t need expensive towing fees on top of a radiator repair bill! Luckily, if you’re in need of radiator replacement or repair, Goodmon’s can help.
Sometimes radiator repair is possible if there is a crack in the plastic or metal tank. Or, if there’s a puncture in a single coolant tube. But the whole unit will likely need replaced if it’s something else that’s broken. We recommend replacing the whole radiator no matter what’s wrong (instead of repairing). This way you can be sure that it won’t start leaking or fail you again for a very long time.
